애플에서 아이폰, 아이패드 맥, 애플 와치 등 운영체계 업데이트를 했습니다.
모두 보안관련 업데이트입니다.
9월15일에 새로운 운영체계가 나올것 같은데도 불구하고 업데이트를 진행한것을 보면 긴급 사항인 것 같습니다.
iOS14.8 업데이트 하는 방법
아이폰에서 설정>소프트웨어 업데이트를 선택하면 됩니다.
이제까지 설정 아이콘인 톱니바퀴 모양이 나타났었는데요, 이번에는 14용 아이콘이 나왔습니다.
iOS14.8 업데이트 관련 내용을 살펴보면 역시나 보안관련 내용입니다. 국내사이트에는 아직 관련내용이 없습니다.
이런건 좀 바로 바로 올려줘야 하지 않나요? 긴 내용도 아닌데 말입니다.
영문 사이트에서 살펴보니 iOS14.8 보안 업데이트 된 내용에 대해 다음과 같이 발표했습니다.

Impact: Processing a maliciously crafted PDF may lead to arbitrary code execution. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited.
Description: An integer overflow was addressed with improved input validation.

pdf파일 실행시 특정코드가 실행되는 문제가 있어서 이를 시정했다고 합니다.
또한 지난번에도 웹킷(사파리 관련) 관련 한번 업데이트가 되었는데요, 미진한것이 있었나 봅니다.
사파리 실행시 마찬가지로 특정코드가 실행될수도 있어 이를 시정했다고 합니다.
중요한 보안 업데이트라고 하니 업데이트 하는 것이 좋을 것 같습니다.
특히나 곧 나올 ios15로 바로 업데이트 하지 않을 계획이시라면 더욱 업데이트가 필요하지 않을까 싶습니다.
내일 9월15일 소문만 돌던 제품들이 소문대로 나올지 기대됩니다.
